About Us

Life Lessons has been over nine years in the making.  By purchasing the online distribution rights of the finest Biblically-based feature films, Life Lessons makes the characters, events and lessons of scripture understandable to modern culture. Our goal is to help people understand the story of God's plan for world redemption as revealed through the Bible.  Life Lessons does not look like most "ministries." It is not focused around one individual or personality.  Instead, it is planned, executed and governed by a collaboration of very talented writers, film makers, graphic artists, theologians, and technical production staff working together to make Biblical stories come alive to today's culture.  Life Lessons' academic advisors (some of the most respected theologians teaching today) insure that each lesson is theologically sound.  Life Lessons is a 501c3 non-profit organization and is governed by its board of directors.

All Life Lessons episodes are narrated by Terry Allen. Terry is a consultant for the technology and health care industries. With over 25 years of professional experience in public policy and public relations, he has advised some of the largest companies in America, and is recognized as a veteran policy and legislative strategist with expertise on a broad range of issues -- from technology, energy, judiciary, telecommunications, tax and trade, to health care and nutrition policy.  Allen is also recognized as a veteran grass roots communication strategist. For over two decades he has advised dozens of non profit organizations throughout America and internationally. Allen finds enjoyment in appreciating the uniqueness of people and in standing for truth that matters. He enjoys writing, traveling, and running. He and his wife Laurie have five children and one grandchild. He works in Washington, D.C.

Be a part of changing lives all over the world! Help us reach a new generation with the truth of the Bible and Jesus.

FAQ

Life Lessons is a pioneering application of new technology to harness Biblically themed feature films to inspire and teach on the major characters, events and lessons of scripture. By combining clips of these motion pictures with professional narration, Life Lessons seeks to become a leading means of exposing our culture to the powerful, life changing lessons of the Bible.

Why hasn’t something like this been done before?

Until recently, access to major Hollywood films has been problematic. Major studios have traditionally viewed web transmission as hostile to their interests. That environment has just now begun to change. Additionally, web 2.0 (enriched media capabilities) now makes cost-free transmission of properly licensed movies and films possible on a scale unimagined just a few years ago.

Can the lessons be downloaded?

No. The film and video clips, text and pictures cannot be downloaded. Downloading photos and videos constitute copyright violations of material owned by photo and video companies licensing their material to Life Lessons. Rather than downloading, the site is available in real time via encrypted streaming.

How can I help?

As a 501c3 non-profit organization, Life Lessons are produced through the generous support of donors who want others to experience the life-changing truths of the Bible for themselves. If you like what you see, please help us make more lessons by hitting the "Donate" button. There are many more lessons that need to be made (several of which are already on the drawing board). We also hope to publish our online content in additional languages.  If you have questions, drop us an email at info@lifelessons.com, please visit the site regularly and "Like" our Facebook Fan Page to stay informed of developments!
